A Time To Give Thanks

A Time To Give Thanks

When life offers you the chance to heal

Or the time to make amends,

Or the time to stop and start again

Or the time to call old friends.

When it brings to mind a memory

Or stirs up love within your heart,

When it captivates your spirit, soul

When great hope it does impart.

When life presents you with a time to dance

Or the time to stop and write,

Or the time to pause and sing your song

Or the chance to put things right.

When it reminds you of a time and place

Of a warm embrace, a tender kiss,

When it lifts your spirits to the heights

When it offers you a moments bliss.

When life blesses you beyond belief

Or turns the rain clouds into sun,

Or turns a failure into a great success

Or enables you, your race to run.

When it paints for you a picture

That ignites, uplifts, inspires,

When it nurtures fully mind, body, soul

When it ensures that good transpires.

Take a moment to stop and give life thanks

Take a moment to breathe in, to hear, to see

Take a moment to love, give something back

Take a moment and simply be.
